This shop is inspired by the idea of a military man and his Hawaiian shirt. 

Oftentimes, you’ll see an off duty soldier wearing this type of shirt-it’s a simple way to escape the conservative hierarchy structure that is embedded in his day to day. Always on high alert, when it's time to escape that, he really wants to feel it. The uniform can come off, he can throw on a fun, comfy shirt and let loose.

We want to encompass this feeling with every product we bring into the shop. 

Work days can be long, grueling, and not totally in your own control. When you finally have ‘you time’, we want you to completely encompass that At Ease feeling. It's really the smallest of things that you can control on your own time that can make the biggest difference, and we truly feel it's necessary to do that. 

T, owner and operator of AE, knows this feeling all too well as a US Special Forces Veteran and now long time oil field contractor. Two careers that are both mentally, physically, and emotionally grueling. When escaping that mindset wasn’t a priority-nothing good came from it. 

Stepping away, taking time for himself and his family, and giving all 3 of those pillars time to reset resulted in a much more enjoyable lifestyle. Always a work in progress. 

T began wearing Hawaiian shirts after his first few deployments as a Green Beret. His wife took notice of it, at first it seemed totally out of character. But as the years went on, she began to understand and love the idea of what this small daily choice could do for her husband’s spirit.

In a nutshell-this is how At Ease came to be. Working together to take care of a community they are a part of and feel is sometimes overlooked. 

The hardworking gentleman is one of dedication and humble sacrifice-mostly of his time. We want to provide a convenient, affordable way for you to shop for the items that will help you enjoy your time off the clock.
