Collection: Permian Ruck Club
The main goal or mission of this club and the meet ups is to get to know each other, feel out the experience and physical fitness of the group, and ensure everyone finishes together.
Stay up to date with scheduled meet ups and events here.
Experienced ruckers are more than welcomed to help with the group, bring in conversations, fitting of packs, and keeping pace.
Dogs are always welcomed. Please make sure they are on a leash or electronic control. Same to any old Veterans that you bring. Be a responsible dog owner and friend of a Veteran, bring poop bags, treats, and water bowls. No other person, dog or leg humping.
With 14 years of experience in US Army as a Scout / Sniper and as a Green Beret I strongly discourage any ruck running or force marching. I have participated in multiple ruck challenges, Special Forces Team challenges and arduous military schools and training. Unless we are in one of those events there is no reason to destroy your lower body.
Packing List:
Bring your own water (example: Nalgene bottles with bottle holder on a battle belt or rig, Camelback, Camelback bladder in rucksack)
Bring Ruck Sack, 3 day pack, Go Ruck Sack, or Go Ruck plate carrier.

Weight: For now carry weight should be something you can carry comfortably and not cause lower body discomfort to minimum discomfort. Discomfort not pain. ~20lbs to 35 lbs not counting water. Less if not experienced or have not rucked for a while. More if experienced.
